It is our goal to provide all of our clients with a great service and the best results possible. Because it’s in everyone’s best interest for work start on time and be performed without rushing through, we ask our clients to pick dates that are unlikely to change. Usually, this means adding a few extra days to the house closing date, giving extra allotting extra time for other trades working in the house and so on.
We understand that life happens and some cancellations and reschedulings may be necessary. To cancel or reschedule the project, the Client must send us an email providing his name, address and reason for cancellation. With a Signed Service agreement in place, the Client may cancel a scheduled project upon the following conditions:
- The client may cancel or reschedule the project with no penalty up to 3 weeks prior to the scheduled starting date. A full refund for any down-payment will be issued minus expenses incurred by a Contractor, such as delivery fees, wood restocking fees, etc.
- If the project is set to start within 3 weeks, and a signed agreement is in place, no cancellation may occur without penalty.
- If the Client does decide to cancel or reschedule the project within 3 weeks of a starting date, a Cancellation Fee of 50% of the total project value will be assessed.
- If we manage to find another project to fill a gap in the schedule that resulted from project cancellation, a penalty may be partially or fully waived.
